LITIO 2.0 is a sheet metal design add-in for GstarCAD that calculates and draws flat sheet metal expansions in ducts, rectangular to circular transitions, cylinders, cones, pipe intersections, connections, bifurcations, elbows, etc. Ideal for the sheet metal processing industry: for HVAC, hoppers, cyclones, dust extraction, ducts, conveying systems, silos, pipelines, and much more.

Some of the features of LITIO 2.0:

– 3D objects are drawn, showing their thickness. You can see what kind of chamfering you will need to weld 3D objects together.

– Diagonal transitions; trifurcations; spirals; “S” pipes; tapered arcs; arcs with different cross sections; more branching patterns; intersection patterns; free transitions, etc.

– Trim 3D: You can trim two 3D objects to get, for example, a tapered branch at the transition from square to round (or any other combination).

– Trim 3D plane: An easier way to intersect 3D objects using a plane. You also get an intersection polyline, for example, to make a tank lid that has been intersected on the x° plane.

– New 3D to 3D surface generator engine: you can create your own customized transitions by clicking on any two entities in GstarCAD’s 3D space that define both ends of the transition.

– New 3D to 2D expansion engine: you can even expand your own 3D meshes [N=2] by clicking on them.

– 2D profiles: You can get the development of the most popular sheet metal profiles [L, U, Z, S, J, Omega], as well as other 2D profiles you want, by clicking on the 2D polyline that defines the profile.

– Independent IN/MID/OUT: At both ends of the transformation, the in/center/out dimensions can be independently selected.

– Groove cutouts: Consideration of grooved seams (for thin sheets) is done automatically.
