License renewal
To update the GstarCAD license assigned to the USB key:
1. Download and install the USB Dongle License Tool, which can be found at:
www.gstarcad.pl/ftp/aplikacje/DongleTools.exe
2. In some cases, information about VisualStudio Library 2017 may appear – accept the message by clicking the ok button.
3. Select the path to the folder where the GstarCAD program is installed. (Example below).
4. After choosing the path, install the program – Dongle License Tool.
5. Plug the USB key with the GstarCAD license into the port – unless you have done so before.
6. Go to the folder where you installed the Dongle License Tool and run it.
7. A window will appear with:
-USB rakto ID
-A window will open with the license number loaded on the USB key
Send the uploaded license number in reply to the received email. email or to the product manager you contacted earlier.
If a “cropped” license number is displayed, simply move the mouse slider slightly (highlighted in the screenshot above).
8. After receiving the update response message (about 1-2 business days), restart the Dongle License Tool with the USB drive connected and select UPDATE.
