# Restoring a license

  #### Restoring a license after a computer failure/destruction/loss


Restoring the GstarCAD license is possible in the event of a failure, theft or change of some computer components. In the event of a disk format or system reinstallation, there is no need to use this option.


#### Important!


After submitting the form below, the device on which the license was used is blocked and the computer ID is added to the blacklist. This makes it impossible to register the same or even a new license on it later.

If the application to block the license is submitted without justification and the user then decides to remove the block, this process will involve a fee of PLN 200 net.

The license number is entered in the field corresponding to the program version you have. The document filled out in this way should be stamped/signed and its scan sent to the email address [licenses@gstarcad.eu](licenses@gstarcad.eu)
